A Midsummer Night's Adventure

Hello.

< Spoiler - Long Post >

Since the last one month or so of sobriety, I have nothing interesting or exciting to report, except for the story I shall narrate below, and that I can now cook for a living. Which is a big deal, given that Maggi was my idea of a home cooked meal.

Added to my now expanding repertoire of home cooked meals is Rice, Dal, chicken curry and fry, Oats Upma, Pasta, Tea and Coffee. Also Potato wedges and tomatoes with a special fluffy omelet. So far I haven't seen my neighbors complaining, nor the birds and squirrels in nearby trees choking while I cook, so I guess its all good. As for me, my stomach is like a cement mixer (touch wood) and has kept my faith up.

Anyways, the story I am going to narrate will need a precautionary disclaimer:

Sanctum

Some take a look at old photos, some stare into the emptiness of the night. Some when their blinded by the morning Sun, while others go there in the presence of music. Few drink their guts out to reach there, and some stare at the ceiling fans when they go to sleep. Some go there when surrounded by chaos, some, when there is chatter all around. Auto Pilot switches on, and everything else goes silent.

Here come the Parents

Yes Guys, they're coming. After 2 false alarms and multiple rounds of emotional negotiations, the parents are arriving on 16th. In the event that I never return to this blog, please come looking for me, as I might either be married off to some "good, homely girl" or be in one of the "the eligible bachelor" carnivals, roaming and being displayed from house to house to the parents of aforementioned females.

Apart from steeling myself from having 50% chance of seeing a lot of photos of women

Delightful encounter part 2

The Environment was very conducive to romantic thoughts. And as I mused about life in general I noticed that it had got dark outside and the window was pretty much reflective. I saw a pretty face looking at me from across the row. I turned quick to face the beautiful thing and she was quick to avert my gaze.

And so it went on for a couple of hours. I looked at her in the window reflection. She would look at me. I would pretend to be dis interested. And then she would look on...and it was kinda cute. I finally decided to take a chance and hatched a plan to create a situation to talk to her.

Our destination was the same. So I decided to drop my purse accidentally just before she got down. Naturally she would want to point it out to me and give me a chance to say hi!

A sudden jerk awoke me from my slumber and I realized I had been dreaming. As I hurried outta my seat and ran down the aisle, a voice called me.

"Excuse me!"

I turned around and saw her calling out to me. It took me 5 seconds to realize I had been staring.

"you left your wallet on the seat"

What? I did? I thought I was dreaming about that.

As I went back to pick the wallet, she crossed me. Her perfume was fantastic. I picked up my wallet and got down the bus to find her, but she was gone. I did a quick run round the bus station, but she was gone.

Dejected, I walked out of the station to catch an auto, and then I saw her sitting in a car. Our eyes met and she smiled and waved as the car passed bye. I could only half raise my hand in return.....

Crushes and counting!!!

Surprisingly as it may seem to most of my friends, The select few of them will know when I say that I have had a lot of crushes, which surprisingly get ended in a similar ways.

If I recall...

1. The first happened in school, 4th std. Typicalish of anyone I'd say. Only thing is I dared to write a letter to that person!!! And got into a lot of embarrasment in my class. Lucky I changed my school the next year :)!!!

2. Then there was a second one in school, around 7th to 10th!!! Again similar story...nothing much happened as expected.

3. The third, fourth and fifth all were in college. All three got married in surprise twists and turns!!! The fourth almost happened, if it wasnt stupidity from myside. In fact I almost was going to say it, when I learnt of the marriage!!!

4. The sixth and my most strangest was a relationship, where we never met each other, yet spoke for hours on end on the phone for hours and hours!!! We met through a mistake sms coming to me...amd from there it was a two year friendship...We were always kept apart. When I moved to bangalore, she had to move somewhere else. And then I dint want to, and then she dint want to. And then it was a mutual split or something like that. needless to say, (You ought to guess by now) Yes she is getting married too!!!

5. Something ended before starting!!! Very recent actually.

And yeah, my bday is on 14th Feb, so people go wow and all that!!! But I dont see it helping :p...Anyways, its been a long roller coaster ride...so am not letting the next one go!!!

I gotta do this

I just walked into a pizza hut on brigade road in bangalore. And have absolutely no idea why, but I just felt I gotta do the following things in a year :) max two years.

1 Learn German, French and Russian

2 Learn to play the guitar

3 Learn to dance


Don't ask me why, I gotta figure it out my self.!!!

what a bad hair day!!!

Really had a tough day...was just back from home in the morning..Somehow the auto guy fleeced me 300bucks!!! Not a guy to argue with auto walas, I was on the verge of a fight today first thing in the morning...

then came the bike..the horn went Kaput..Got fed up trying to correct it and in the process got late for work..

Then came the saliva spitting bus..I overtook a bus and somebdy felt it was the right moment to spit out..while I was checking what the F, the bus vanished and so were my chances of whacking someone. To top it all one of my favorite boss in office had his last day at office today..so there!!!

Phew..anyway its a brand new month. Have been very active on linked in..catching up on everyone..asking questions and stuff.

Am looking forward to a good month (Puhleeeeeeze GOD!!!)

Modest academic!!!

Well well well...fantastic saturday..met my best sir/friend and mentor in some ways today..met my juniors..some shopping for taking back home. Many things interesting but I will post some touching things tommorrow...

As for Today...we all tend to exagerate our marks by .05, .9 etc..Like when it is 62.5 it becomes 63% or 65 even..Have you ever seen somebody reduce it to 62??

Well yours truly, (smart fellow that I am )have been enlightened today by Chandan Saar that I have been telling everyone( EVERYONE including on my resume) that my CGPA was 6.9/10
When IT ACTUALLY WAS 7.9/10!!!

CAn you believe it...no wonder I wasnt getting any calls from head hunters! We were in coffee day when this gyaan was given to me and we all cheered with a cool blue to celebrate.

Tommorrow will be a new label entry too..entitled "Reviews and tributes" and I hope it would make an interesting read...
